Phase 1 Engagement is now closed. The project team is preparing a What We Heard Report and will be sharing it over the summer.

Project Timeline
Phase 1
June 2026
Phase 1 Engagement feeds into the project team's evolving pre-application submission to the City. This phase shares site opportunities and constraints and asks what people would like to see in the new park and public realm.
Phase 2
Summer/Fall 2026
Phase 2 Engagement begins with the project team's formal Outline Plan and Land Use Redesignation applications to the City. This phase reveals the masterplan and preliminary park design to the public and asks questions around what people like, how the plan can be further improved, and shares how people can provide their feedback directly to the City as part of the active applications.
Phase 3
November 2026
Phase 3 Engagement reveals the revised masterplan and applications to the public before the final approvals process begins. At this point in the project the masterplan will have been revised following City review, and the public will be provided an opportunity to learn about the changes and share their thoughts before the applications proceed to Calgary Planning Commission and City Council for approval.
